Policy Advisory Council
The .MUSIC top-level domain is governed by policies created in collaboration with the global music community. The .MUSIC policies were created for the benefit of all global music community constituents and are aligned with the .MUSIC mission and purpose to provide a secure, trusted and verified music domain name and identity. Council members include:

- The International Confederation of Music Publishers (ICPM) - The Voice of Global Music Publishing
- The National Music Publishers Association (NMPA) - Major Publishers

The purpose of the Council is to support the global music community consultation process by considering and providing advice to the .MUSIC registry in relation to the policies of the .MUSIC top-level domain.
- Helping to ensure that the .MUSIC policy development process is in line with best practices for registry policy development;
- Providing guidance on the global music community consultation process;
- Reviewing and providing input on draft policies;
- Developing informed policy recommendations and raising its awareness about topics of interest from the global music community; and
- Assisting the .MUSIC registry in identifying and assembling a diverse and representative group of stakeholders worldwide to participate.
Council members will consider first and foremost the best interests of the globally diverse music community. Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring that the views from all concerned segments of the global music community are made known to and considered; and
- Representing their respective communities’ interests as a whole, with an open mind to the opinions of all concerned segments of the community.
